Recipe: Energizer Green Juice

Nothing kicks off a Monday better than a green juice to get you going before you head off to work or school. Or, if you're like me, blend it up in the morning, pour in your favourite travel cup and walk out the door knowing you're starting the week off right! This is an incredibly simple green juice, but oh so yummy. You'll probably have most of the ingredients on hand anyway, but if not, you should be able to pick anything you need from your local supermarket.

You will need:

1 Gala apple - peeled, cored, and chopped
4 leaves of kale, chopped
1 cup fresh coconut meat
1/2 cucumber, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/2 cup spinach
1 cup coconut water
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup water
1 lemon, juiced

Place apple, kale, coconut meat, cucumber, celery, and spinach in a blender; top with coconut water, almond milk, water, and lemon juice. Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
